The New Interaction Window
You can create an Interaction from the New Interaction window. Use the Contact and User Message panes to specify incoming and outgoing information.
To View the New Interaction Window
• From the File menu, select New, and choose Interaction.

Click .
The New Interaction window is displayed.

Components of the New Interaction Window
The following table describes the components of the New Interaction window:

Menu Bar |
Contains commands to perform operations in the New Interaction window. |
Toolbar |
Displays the most frequently performed tasks as buttons. Place the mouse cursor on a button to view its function. |
Search Contacts Pane |
Used to specify Filter conditions to search for the Contact associated with the Interaction. When an Interaction is created, Filter conditions specified in the Search Contacts pane using the Select Properties dialog box are saved. As a result, these saved Filter conditions are displayed in the window every time you create a new Interaction. However, Filter conditions specified manually in the Search Contacts pane are specific only to the Interaction being currently created. |
Contact Message Pane |
Located under the Text tab. Used to record the message received from a Contact. |
User Message Pane |
Located under the Text tab. Used to record your response to the Contact's message. |
Assigned To Tab |
Used to assign the Interaction to another User in the same Team. |
Tip The Add Message window is similar to the New Interaction window. |
